Why Spay/Neuter your pet?
-3 to 4 million dogs and cats are euthanized in US shelters every year. Many of these pets are the unwanted offspring of un-spayed/un-neutered family pets.
-Neutered pets are less likely to roam and be at risk of encountering dangers such as: wild animals, being hit by a car, other roaming dogs or cats, or becoming euthanized in a shelter.
-A female dog spayed before her first heat has a near 0% risk of developing mammary cancer. This risk increases exponentially with each heat cycle.
-Neutering eliminates the risk of testicular cancer and greatly reduces the risk of prostate problems.
-Spaying eliminates the risk of uterine cancer and life-threatening uterine infections.
-Neutering can prevent, reduce or eliminate aggressive behavior brought on by hormones
